  • Requires 16 credits of one foreign language other than American Sign Language
 
     
    There are four different aspects to each student's Integrated Studies degree:
     
     
   

1. General Education Requirements

     
      Fulfill DSC's General Education Requirements (including Math 1040, 1050, 1100, or 1210)  
      or  
      Receive an Associate of Science or Associate of Arts degree  
      or  
      Receive a Certificate of GE completion from an accredited institution  
     
   

2. Integrated Studies Core Requirements

    Grade of C or higher required in each course  
       
    INTS 2000 -- Integrated Studies (2)  
    INTS 3000 -- Diversity in American Society (3)  
    INTS 3500 -- Ethics and Values (3)  
    INTS 4900 -- Senior Project (3)  
   
 

3. First Concentration Area

    Minimum 21 credits from approved list of courses  
    12 credits must be upper-division (3000 or above)  
   
 

4. Second Concentration Area

    Minimum 21 credits from approved list of courses  
    12 credits must be upper-division (3000 or above)  
   
  Students must also fulfill Dixie State College's Graduation Requirements
   
    Minimum 120 credits; at least 40 of which must be upper-division (3000 or above)  
    Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher  
    Minimum 30 credits "in residence" at DSC  
   
  • At least 10 of the DSC credits must completed within the final 45 credits of coursework
