APA Style for Articles from Databases

Remember, EBSCOhost is not a database, it is a vendor for databases. You must use the actual name of the database (Academic Search Elite, MasterFILE Premier, MEDLINE, etc.).

The first part of the citation is exactly the same as the print citation; then the database information is added.

You must list the date you accessed the article and the name of the database used for retrieval (EBSCOhost Academic Search Elite).
