Article Databases

Article indexes and full-text article databases are also available. Databases are linked under Article Databases on the library home page. Access to these subscription databases is limited to Dixie State College students, faculty and staff. The databases may be accessed on campus or at remote centers.

In addition, proxy access is available from other locations. Proxy access is a system of "tricking" your computer into thinking it is in the library so you can have full access to all the electronic resources. This requires changing some settings in your computer and necessitates using a special ID and password which are changed each semester. The ID and password may be obtained by coming into the library and showing proof of registration or by contacting Rob Snyder, Systems Administrator, at 435.652.7719 or snyder@dixie.edu.
