    • Students - 10

For all patrons other than faculty, the check out period for books is 3 weeks. After that time, materials are considered overdue and fines start to accrue. If not on hold, items may be renewed once for an additional 7 days, but must be renewed before they become overdue.

For all patrons other than faculty, AV materials are checked out for 7 days. If not on hold, AV materials may be renewed for 4 days.

    Fine Schedule:
There is no grace period. Fines begin accruing as soon as an item is overdue. Other than Course Reserve materials, fines accrue at $0.25 for each day after the due date.

A security fine is imposed for materials taken out of the Circulation Area without having been properly "checked out".

    Check-In:
Library books may be placed in the book drops inside the building, at the front steps, or in the north parking lot outside. All tapes and videos should be returned inside to prevent damage.

    Food, Drink and Tobacco Policy:
Utah State law forbids smoking anywhere in the library. The use of smokeless tobacco has resulted in significant damage to library property and has caused additional cleaning expenses. As food and drink can cause damage to library materials, library furnishings, and library equipment through spillage and can attract book and paper damaging insects, eating, drinking and all forms of tobacco are prohibited in the library.

    Cellular Telephones
Cell phones are very disruptive to other patrons. Please turn your cell phone off or to "silent mode" while in the library. If you receive a call, please step outside the library to conduct your conversation so as to be respectful of fellow patrons.

    Interlibrary Loan (ILL):

Interlibrary Loan -- online request form

While the services and collections of this library are designed to meet the study needs of the community college student, books and copies of magazine articles from other libraries are available for your use through the Interlibrary Loan system. However, it takes approximately one week for materials to arrive from other Utah libraries. Two weeks is usually the amount of time it takes for materials coming from out-of-state libraries. Plan as far in advance as possible if you choose to use this service.
